The Scientific Method as an Ongoing Process
The Scientific Method is a continuous cycle that always challenges ideas & theories, determining their importance to explain the world around us (and in us). After observations are made, a hypothesis is created, predictions are made, data is collected, and a theory is made. If the hypothesis is tested and rejected, then the hypothesis is rethought, new predictions are formed and data is again collected. This process continues until tests reveal data that supports your hypothesis.
